Ambassador Program Terms
Terms governing participation in the Owode Commerce Ambassador Program.

Welcome to the Owode Commerce Ambassador Program.
These Ambassador Program Terms (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Owode Commerce Ambassador Program operated by Owode Commerce Ltd (“Owode”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By submitting an application or participating in the program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Program
The Owode Commerce Ambassador Program is a community initiative designed to help introduce more people to Owode Commerce while creating opportunities for ambassadors to develop leadership, marketing, networking, and entrepreneurship skills.
Participation in the program is voluntary unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Eligibility
You may apply if you:
- are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law;
- provide accurate and complete information during your application;
- agree to comply with these Terms and any related policies published by Owode.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
3. Selection
Owode reviews all applications at its discretion.
We may:
- accept or reject applications;
- request additional information;
- invite applicants for interviews or onboarding;
- limit participation based on available capacity.
Owode is not required to provide reasons for accepting or declining an application.
4. Nature of the Relationship
The Ambassador Program does not create:
- an employment relationship;
- a partnership;
- a joint venture;
- an agency relationship;
- a franchise;
- or any other legal relationship beyond participation in the program.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, ambassadors are independent volunteers participating in a community growth initiative.
5. Ambassador Responsibilities
As an ambassador, you agree to:
- represent Owode honestly and professionally;
- provide accurate information about Owode’s products and services;
- avoid misleading or deceptive statements;
- treat community members respectfully;
- comply with applicable laws;
- protect confidential information shared during the program;
- follow any official campaign guidelines issued by Owode.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Ambassadors must not:
- impersonate Owode employees;
- make promises or guarantees on behalf of Owode without authorization;
- collect payments on behalf of Owode unless specifically approved;
- misuse the Owode brand;
- engage in fraud or deceptive marketing;
- harass, discriminate against, or abuse others;
- engage in activities that could reasonably damage Owode’s reputation.
7. Rewards and Incentives
Owode may, at its discretion, provide ambassadors with incentives such as:
- commissions;
- referral bonuses;
- merchandise;
- certificates;
- recognition awards;
- event invitations;
- training opportunities;
- exclusive platform benefits;
- or other rewards.
Unless expressly stated in writing, no ambassador is guaranteed any payment, reward, commission, employment opportunity, or financial benefit.
Reward structures may change at any time.
8. Use of the Owode Brand
Owode may provide ambassadors with approved logos, graphics, promotional materials, or messaging.
These materials:
- remain the property of Owode;
- may only be used for authorized ambassador activities;
- must not be modified in a misleading manner;
- must be discontinued upon request or when participation ends.
9. Ambassador Content
If you voluntarily submit testimonials, photographs, videos, social media content, or other promotional materials relating to the Ambassador Program, you grant Owode a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, adapt, and distribute such content for promotional and marketing purposes.
You retain ownership of your original content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If your content includes identifiable individuals, you are responsible for ensuring that any necessary permissions have been obtained.
10. Confidential Information
During your participation, you may receive confidential or non-public information about Owode.
You agree not to disclose or misuse such information without our prior written consent.
This obligation continues even after your participation ends.
11. Personal Information
Owode processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Information submitted through the Ambassador application may be used to:
- evaluate applications;
- communicate with applicants;
- administer the program;
- measure program performance;
- improve future ambassador initiatives.
12. Suspension and Removal
Owode may suspend or remove any ambassador at any time where we reasonably believe that the ambassador:
- violates these Terms;
- engages in misconduct;
- damages the reputation of Owode;
- provides false information;
- becomes inactive for an extended period where participation is required;
- or otherwise acts contrary to the objectives of the program.
Where appropriate, Owode may provide an opportunity to respond before removal, but is not obligated to do so.
13. Ending Participation
You may leave the Ambassador Program at any time by notifying Owode.
Owode may also end your participation in accordance with these Terms.
Upon leaving the program, you agree to stop representing yourself as an Owode Ambassador and discontinue use of any ambassador-only materials.
14. Changes to the Program
Owode may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Ambassador Program, or any part of it, at any time.
We may also update these Terms from time to time.
Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through our website or other official communication channels.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Owode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the Ambassador Program.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the competent courts of Nigeria unless otherwise required by applicable law.
